“The shorebreak is my comfort zone. I absolutely love it. It’s always different. The light, the colors, the water, the sand and what happens to it. And to be there to capture it and share it with the world… what a dream.” –Clark Little
He produces stunning shots of waves from every angle imaginable. Clark Little grew up on Oahu, Hawaii, where surfing Waimea became a passion. Here in the sea, he “had a unique talent for taking off on hopeless closeout shorebreak waves and surviving in one piece.”
We can all be grateful he has that particular skill, and thankful that it all combined one day in 2007 when his wife wanted to decorate a bedroom wall with a picture of the ocean. Clark got the camera gear together, then hit the water to start snapping the breaks from inside out. The results are spectacular.
What he does is even more impressive for how he does it. Would you stand in front of giant breaking waves, camera in hand?
Get his photos and learn more about him here on this website. And follow him on here on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
And because we can’t resist all this watery splendor, here’s a small smattering of his wave pics:
And because the folks at Reshareworthy couldn’t resist either, check out their gallery of Clark Little wave pics here.
A lovely view into another world. Nicely done. 🙂
